Its that time of the year again guys..kites in the sky sky ..music fultu loud loud..affa affa shouting shouting..later realising realising..that its your own patang patang:)And you thought i could write poems?huh?see i proved you wrong!Sankranti is the one festival where you literally and metaphorically personify craziness..only if you know the art of flying kites.Otherwise,you would be given the prestigious duty of holding the chakri and encouraging your kite flyer.Its a lot of fun(because i say so!)coz you dont get blamed for getting your own kite cut!
But this year try something different.Instead of going and buying a kite from the stall,go to a DVD rental shop and check out the movie KItEs.Yes people,i know its a tedious task but it will teach you what not to do next year on Makar Sankranti:)I seriously wonder why the movie never flew.(Oh,it never took off actually)It had everything,oh wait,the story was never there.There you go.Just by roping in a few hot stars and international locales is not working at all in Bollywood.What the audience wants is a better storyline and concept.Toonpur ka Superhero got better reviews than Tees Maar Khan yaar! 2010 was a big let down certainly.Lets hope if not the movies atleast the sequels to be released this year bring in a breath of fresh air..
